How we avoid copying another site
1. Brand and search
The site is called Tarkov Guide because that is how people search for maps and ammo. The public domain is eftguide.app — Tarkov is not in the URL. Every page says we are not affiliated with Battlestate Games and do not copy tarkov.help.
2. Our copy, our UI
Do not reuse tarkov.help layout, icons, wording, comments or interactive maps. Their offer says maps, code and design are theirs.
3. Data source
Items, prices, quests and hideout come from the public tarkov.dev API. We do not scrape other sites. Official promo art and game logos are not used.
4. Fan projects and trademarks
Battlestate has already asked a fan project to drop Tarkov from its domain. Rule: keep Tarkov out of the URL, do not look official, do not distribute the game client.
5. Progress
Quest and hideout marks stay in the browser. An account later will need a privacy policy and an offer for your jurisdiction.
